Great Egret

Depending on the subject matter, subtle applications of graphic arts finishing techniques can produce striking results on marketing materials. Take the mother of pearl on white foil stamp and embossed Great Egret, for example. Simply elegant! At the opposite end of the spectrum, use of black on black can be arresting too.

Production notes:

The image of the graceful in-flight egret was flat stamped using etched copper stamping dies in 3 passes. MHCP 430 Gloss Yellow, then MH/CP 350 Gloss Black, and finally MH/CP # 710 Mother of Pearl. The 3 colors were then register embossed using a brass sculptured brass die that was hand modeled by one of MH/CP's skilled die makers.
